Hawaii has been on our list for a really long time, but we knew there is no way that we could get there.
The flights are super expensive and there is no way we can make it there.
But as soon as we got back from Greece and COVID got worse, I started tracking the flight prices to Hawaii, however it was still on stay-at-home orders so we decided to wait.
So we waited, and waited, until I was in a meeting at work and during that meeting I found a flight to Hawaii for less than $500.
At first I wasn’t sure, because of the COVID restriction and I wanted to make sure that we are during it correctly.
For about 4 hours Liz gave me the puppy face, so we would have to go to Hawaii and it was now or never.
So I caved and got us tickets, and I have to say I don’t regret it.
Hawaii is such a unique place and I think everyone should visit at least once in their life.
So you are probably asking , “why did you go twice?”
Well, when you find a good deal you have to take it.
A few months ago, I was looking at Google Flights and suddenly I found flights to Hawaii for a long weekend for $409.
First thing that I thought was that there had to be a catch, so I investigated for a few hours and understood that the catch was that on the way back we would have 3 flights instead of 2.
Kona to San Francisco and then San Francisco to San Diego, then our last flight is San Diego to Newark.
At first we were not sure, however, how can you say no to such a good deal?
We are also trying to change our status with United so that trip can help us a lot.
So I caved again and got us the flight to Hawaii.
Stay tuned for more information on this trip!
